Hey yall! A very last-minute show just got confirmed for tomorrow April 30 @ Hampshire College! Elephantom will go on at 10:30, and play for about an hour. Berkley College band DOH-RALL will then go on at midnight.

The 'new demo', 'I Am Your Head' offered on IRC is a track off Nick Pope's solo album 'St. Deviation's Attack on TheCastleOfLove', which you can download for free from the Music Section of this very website! Elephantom has been performing 'I Am Your Head' at recent shows, and will be recording the song for the second LP.

greetings from the studio.

we are hard at work on album #2. it doesn't have a name yet. we don't even know its gender. and we want to be surprised.

but the songs we've recorded have names like "Westward Wagon Surrender Song" and "Remember Mirrors."

as always, we'll be recording on breaks from school and playing gigs all over the place this spring. come see us on Friday in Cambridge (8 PM, All Asia Cafe)!

Besides sounding a thousand times better, the remastered version has some additional changes- a slightly different track order, some changes to song names, and a completely new version of Swim. Elephantom was asked to play Hampshire College's annual "SPRING JAM" seasonal concert- Hampshire's biggest music event of the year! Prepare for a full day of live music and fun in the sun. What more? This event is totally free! I will post the official lineup soon.

Long time no update. Long time no website.
HOWEVER! Today, on this historic day in history, we are proud to announce the grand opening of elephantom.com!!! Be expecting updates and showdates and (maybe even) dates with the band!

Saturday, February 28, Elephantom competed in the Rockus Battle of the Bands put on by Rolling Stone Magazine and Veritas Records at The Loft @ Tommy Doyles. Elephantom rocked hard, but labelmates The Ben Kultgen Band secured victory by melting the judge's hearts with some tight jams (and a little Britney). They will be playing in round II @ The Paradise on April 14- try to make it out to this show to lend our friends some support!

This weekend! Saturday and Sunday will be spent mixing and mastering four songs with the help of Chris Powers! Expect nice sounding versions of:

Aurora Surrealis
A Citizen of the Earth
Dollva Co Crimson
Altocumulus

The four finalized songs are for a press kit to be sent out to labels, venues, and bands. The rest of the album will be chopped, painted, and polished in the coming weeks.

Last Friday Elephantom played another successful show at Queen's Head Pub. Thanks to everyone who stayed up past their bedtimes to support the band! The first ever Elephantom photo shoot went down on Saturday! Pictures and pictures will be posted at a later date.

Elephantom played at The Palladium this past Saturday in statewide battle of the bands called "The Next Big Thing". The battle was fierce.. but Elephantom provailed! With first place in hand, we strolled out with some fresh bills and happy thoughts. Thanks to all who trudged into the depths of Worcester for the show! In other news:

UPDATE ON THE VERITAS DEAL!
+ "Swim. Towards the Sun." will be professionally mixed and mastered. We expect the release sometime this spring.
+ Veritas is currently working on a tour for this summer... More details to come.
+ Elephantom will be playing in Rolling Stone Magazine's Battle of the Bands on February 28.
+ Tour of colleges on East Coast this spring (if you want Elephantom at your school, email pom08@hampshire.edu and we will see what we can do!)
